Bonn inventor at the Ras al Khaimah Exhibition Centre | The Bonn inventor René Baltus is exhibiting "Classic-Sign", his handwriting recognition system, at the International Gulf Trade Fare - IGTF - in the Arab Emirate Ras al Khamei.
The exhibition was inaugurated by His Highness Sheik Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, with a regimental band and dignitaries also marking the occasion. He visited the Bonn inventor’s stand during the usual tour of the trade fair. Apart from the importance of the electronic signature, the Sheik was very impressed with the ability of the machine to provide children and adults with a stress-free way of learning to write, using the computer and the writing identification system. It should be noted in this regard that the Arab Emirates are extremely interested in E-learning as a future educational method.
The exhibitors are from several European and overseas countries; the delegation from North Rhine-Westphalia is being funded by the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Economic Affairs as part of the promotion of exports.
Rene Baltus said after the first day that he was very pleased with the interested, alert and curious visitors; the contacts he has arranged to meet will be coming during the next few days.

Bonner Erfinder im Ras al Khaimah Exibition Centre | Der Bonner Erfinder René Baltus stellt sein Handschriften-Erkennungsystem "Classic-Sign" auf der International Gulf Trade Fare - IGTF - in dem Arabischen Emirat Ras al Khamei aus.
Die feierlichen Eröffnung der Ausstellung mit Regimentskpelle und den Honorationen erfolgte durch Kronprinz Highness Sheik Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi as the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah. Er besuchte auf dem üblichen Rundgang den Stand des Bonners. Neben der Bedeutung der elektronischen Unterschrift war der Scheich von der Fähigkeit des Systems zum stressfreien Schreibenlernen für Kinder und Erwachsene mit Hilfe des Computers und des Schrifterfassungssystems sehr beeindruckt. Hierzu muss gesagt werden, dass die Arabischen Emirate dem E-Learning als zukünftiges Bildungsverfahren höchste Aufmerksamkeit zukommen lassen.
Die Aussteller kommen aus mehreren europäischen und überseeischen Ländern; die NRW-Delegation wird vom NRW Wirtschaftsministerium im Zuge der Exportförderung finnziell unterstützt.
Rene Baltus zeigte sich nach dem ersten Tag mit dem interessierten, wachen und neugierigen Besucher sehr zufrieden; die terminierten Kontakte werden aber noch in den nächsten Tagen folgen.
